Compassionate Family Empowerment

Who Is this for

Children, adolsecent and families navigating through turbulent times. Foster youth, at-risk youth, youth with trauma or mental health needs and parents under court supervision.

Overview

These services aim to ensure the safety of children, families, and communities, improve interpersonal relationships and communication within families, prevent the placement of a child in out-of-home care, reduce the recurrence of juvenile delinquent offenses, and prepare the family and child for reunification.

Objective

Sstabilize families, promote rehabilitation, and improve long-term well-being for children and youth in difficult circumstances.

Approach

Support, guidance, and intervention to promote family stability, child well-being, and positive behavioral outcomes. Timely, effective and critically importanct interventions. We address and resolve challenging dynamics within the comfort and familiarity of one’s own home. Individual and family therapy, case management, and pro-social engagement.

Referral Source

DCYF and Juvenile Justice to provide community-based service.

Experienced professionals specializing in trauma-informed care, mental health counseling, and family support, providing expert guidance to youth and families involved in state services. Common professional backgrounds include:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs, LICSWs)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs, LCMHCs)
  • Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs)
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC, MLADC)
  • Psychiatrists (MD or DO) with a focus on child psychiatry
